Try these tips for finding niches

People just starting out making money online often get down because they feel like every good idea has been taken.

Trust me, as soon as you start thinking of ideas for new web sites or articles you won't be able to stop, and you will start to have the feeling that you will never have time to complete them all.

Start with a problem

When people go to Google they are looking for information to solve a problem or to be entertained. Let's skip entertainment for now and look at helping people to solve a problem.

Think of the different problems people having in life:

- family

- housing

- money

- relationships

- health

All of the above areas offer an unlimited number of niches to explore. Millions of people will be using the internet to find help or solutions to any of the above problems.

Avoid too much free informaiton

The internet has some excellent free resources. If there are a lot of good quality, free resources it is going to be difficult to sell information in that niche. Look problems that don't have good quality free solutions or information.

Some competition is good

Finally, you want to find niches with some competition, but not a massive amount. If your niche is too competitive you will have to spend too much time or money marketing your site or product. Zero competition means there could be no market for your product. Some competition means there is a potential market and you just have to work a little harder than your competitiors to profit from your newly found niche.
