Mark Malkuff living in Ikea

I remember comedians used to get famous by doing stand-up comedy in live venues and if they were lucky they would then move on to television. Well the internet has changed the whole comedy paradigm and if you are a comedian or anyone looking to get famous, you won't make it without doing some funny YouTube videos and having a Myspace page with millions of friends - that you will never meet. Following Mark's stunts he has appeared a guest on the "Today" show, CNN, Fox News Channel, ABC News, and Fox Business Network.

171 Starbucks

Mark's first claim to fame was 171 Starbucks In just one day he visited all 171 Starbuck stores in Manhattan. Not only did he visit them, he purchased something at all stores spending $369.14 and making a short video in the process.

Living in Ikea

I am not sure what this experiment entails. Living in Ikea? Well most of the stores have cafes and comfortable bedding so I am sure it can't be too bad.

On his website he says he will be living in the IKEA store in Parmaus, NJ from the morning of January 7th for a whole week.

Here is a link to his IKEA site: Living in IKEA

There are plenty more videos on his site. It was kind of funny at first, but when you think about it more it just sounds like a stunt by IKEA to get free advertising.
