A simple way to get your hub ranked for keywords in Google
66A hub which you cannot ignore
You have just spent hours creating a new hub which you think is better than anything Shakespeare could have done. You check back a couple of days later only to find you have only had a few visitors. How do people get traffic to their hubs, you start to wonder.
Of course you have lots of fans in hubpages who you know will check out your new hub, but it is probably unlikely they will bring in any money.
What you really want is people searching from Google or Yahoo coming in to your site. These people know nothing about hubpages and are just looking to get their problem solved. These are the kind of visitors you want to get to your site if you are looking to make money.
Blogger to the rescue
If you don't have a blogspot blog, sign up for one or start a new one. Write a new post which basically summarizes your hub.
Within the post, include a link to your hub with the keywords you want to rank for in the anchor text of the link.
Blogger is a Google property so they index blogs quickly and tend to give some good weighting to links from there.
Don't get too carried away
This method will work well as long as you don't get too carried away. Write some blog posts on anything that comes to mind. Include some pictures. Link to other sites that are not necessarily your own.
This gives credibility to your blog. If you write single posts that contain only one link to your hub page, it won't be long before Google will be onto you.
